How the music industry is killing itself

How the music industry is killing itself

This morning, I opened my mailbox and there was a rather interesting e-mail in there. Apparently you are not allowed to tell anyone on the internet that you like listening to Porcupine Tree. Too bad these record labels don't see the power of internet marketing. Instead they hit on their own customers that just legally bought ten records of the aforementioned artist. I wonder if the band itself knows about these actions?

The mail:

PT and Atlantic

It's sad that Atlantic doesn't realize how the live shows on DIME, etc contribute to cd sales of the commercial recordings.
