I just entered the world of Digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras.
Ever since I got my compact camera (Canon Digital IXUS IIs) my eye was on the Digital Rebel from Canon (EOS 300D in Europe). This is the most-sold Digital SLR camera of the world and therefore almost within my budget. Last week I decided to buy it.
Since it's arrival I have taken over 500 shots of various uninteresting objects and played with the different settings of this interesting piece of equipment. It's really different from my point-and-shoot camera. Now I have to watch the aperture, exposure-time, field of depth, white balance, and more of the technicalities, while my other camera did all of this for me. Of course the Rebel can dot this automatically too, but that's no fun!
Now to find some more lenses so I can take even more nice pictures. Keep an eye on my gallery for updates!
