I already had been at home for a while, but now it's official.
The vacation has started. The elementary schools in Limburg had their last school day yesterday, so the population starts moving to the south again.
I won't join them because I stay, just like last year, in our own little country. And that isn't even as bad as it sounds. Last week was a very successful week. Once in four years my home town of Brunssum celebrates the Folkloristic Parade. Dance groups from all over the world come to Brunssum to show us their traditional dances. Take a look in my photography gallery for pictures and more information.
Unfortunately the weather won't cooperate this summer. At the time I'm writing this text it's rather sunny, but that's a first. But we'll keep good hopes for the rest of the season. Especially the weekend of August 21. We'll be heading over to Biddinghuizen for the 'A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise 2004' festival then and rain is not very comfortable at such events.
Happy holiday and speak to you soon!
