One of the phrases used in current iPhone advertisements is 'There is an App for that', but I somehow I don't think there is an App for this.
During the Lowlands festival in Biddinghuizen in August of this year, Anky and I went to see the NightWriters. The NightWriters is an effort of a popular Dutch writer, called Ray Kluun, to make reading literature less elitist. He lets all different kind of Dutch and Belgium writers read short stories and poems, intermingled with performances of his favorite bands.
This website will be a bit messy for the coming weeks as I'm using it as a testbed for upgrading to Drupal 6. I will first try to get all functionality in and then make a new template to update the site layout. I'm already excited about the new options in D6, woohoo!
In the third attempt to get a new Starbase 49 website going, I decided to use the Simm Managment System by Anodyne Productions.
This morning, I opened my mailbox and there was a rather interesting e-mail in there. Apparently you are not allowed to tell anyone on the internet that you like listening to Porcupine Tree. Too bad these record labels don't see the power of internet marketing. Instead they hit on their own customers that just legally bought ten records of the aforementioned artist. I wonder if the band itself knows about these actions?

Just at the end of the year my brother Erik got a new job at Men_at_Work. At this new job he has the possibility to become a shop manager.
Anky is still doing great at school, well underway in her second year. She was born to be a teacher.
Both Bart and Mischa are in a relationship. I wish them the very best for a long time to come.
